Child Safety Standards Policy

Last updated: 17.10.2025

1. Introduction

At Ramiba Publishing, we are firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards of user safety and regulatory compliance across our products, including the video chat application Mira.

This document outlines our principles, preventive measures, and enforcement actions regarding the prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). It applies to all users of Mira and represents our unwavering dedication to child protection.

This Policy supplements our Terms and Conditions, which describe in detail the general rules, user rights, and responsibilities associated with using the Mira app. We encourage all users to review both documents to ensure a complete understanding of their obligations and our safety procedures.

2. Definitions

Minor (Child) refers to any individual under the age of 18, regardless of local definitions or variations in age of majority. For the purposes of this Policy, all persons under 18 years of age are considered minors.

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) refers to any act involving or attempting to involve a minor in sexual activity, whether online or offline. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Displaying or distributing inappropriate or sexual content to minors (including grooming or coercion).
  • Engaging in or soliciting sexual interactions or contact with a child.
  • Attempting to befriend or communicate with minors for sexual or exploitative purposes, including exchanging explicit messages or images.
  • Sexualizing minors, such as creating or sharing content that depicts or promotes the sexual exploitation of children.
  • Acts of sextortion, where a child is threatened or blackmailed with the claim of possessing intimate materials.
  • Child trafficking or solicitation of minors for commercial sexual exploitation.
  • Any deceptive or manipulative practices targeting minors, including fraudulent offers, counterfeit goods, or fake giveaways.

3. Prohibitions

Mira strictly prohibits any form of CSAE or related misconduct on its platform.

This includes (but is not limited to) any of the following activities:

  • Creation, distribution, or solicitation of CSAE-related content.
  • Grooming, exploitation, or communication with minors for inappropriate purposes.
  • Any conduct violating local or international child protection and safety laws.

Violations of these prohibitions result in immediate suspension or termination of the involved accounts and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement authorities.

4. Prevention and Enforcement

To ensure user safety and effective prevention of CSAE or other illegal activities, Mira employs a combination of proactive monitoring, reporting mechanisms, and law enforcement cooperation.

Our measures include:

  1. Human moderation and AI-powered content detection operating in real time to identify and remove prohibited material.
  2. A built-in reporting system, enabling users to report suspicious, abusive, or harmful behavior directly from within the app.
  3. Prompt investigation and removal of content or accounts that violate this Policy.
  4. Cooperation with legal authorities when required or appropriate to support child protection efforts.
  5. Continuous improvement of moderation tools, safety workflows, and internal procedures based on regulatory updates, technological advancements, and internal audits.

Mira remains fully compliant with all applicable laws, standards, and regulations concerning child safety and digital platform governance.
